How would you like it if you came out of your office and found this on your car? Personally, it would freak me out.
This is the lot behind my building. We have been invaded by bees for the past couple weeks. Every day Ed, the security guard, has to call the bee keepers to come collect the honeybees and every day, Ed comes in to my office with his digital camera to show me where the new hive is. Rio Grande Street is not the lushest of areas. So they're swarming to corners of our building, little trees in the back, and vehicles, apparently.
YIKES man. Where in the world do they take those?? And what's up with the red suburban being such a bee charmer..
ReplyDeleteWhoa. Was there a stuffed Winnie the Pooh in the back or something?
ReplyDeleteThat would freak me out too!Have you seen any in the building?
ReplyDeleteI don't know what I would do if I just walked out to my truck and it was covered in bees. Probably just sit there and stare in disbelief for about half an hour figuring out what to do. I'll keep Ed in mind.
ReplyDeleteThat is sick! It's like a plague, reminds me of my office in the fall when the box elder bugs invade.
ReplyDeleteWow...and I thought all the bees were dying from that hive collapse thing. Maybe they're all congregating on Rio Grande, eh? Like a national bee convention or something.
ReplyDeleteThat is so scary! I'll remember to NEVER park there.
ReplyDeleteLooks like the premise for some Hitchcock movie. I would take those bees to the car wash.
ReplyDeletePlease remember to wear a hat with a protective veil, please.
wow... I saw 2, 2 bees in my backyard the other day and ran inside. I might faint if that were my car.
ReplyDeleteY'all are thinking about this all wrong.
ReplyDeleteIf that happens to any of your cars please let me know. I would love to drive around town with a million bee's on the car (as long as they are on the outside). I mean think about it:
-I bet there isn't a cop in the world that would stand outside your window long enough to give you a ticket.
- Can you imagine going through a drive thru window at Wendy's? The look on the girl's face would be worth it.
- A car wash would be fun.
And then when you want the bees off, we just hit the freeway and see if we can set a new speed record! :)
I think I would be too nervous that a bee would get inside my car! I don't think I could drive it home for a couple of days after that!
ReplyDeleteAh- I'm with Cameron- Was Winnie the Pooh in there?
ReplyDeleteThat is scary! Be careful when going out there...
ReplyDeleteSo much for the bee die off I keep hearing about in the news.
